Bryan Mbeumo has emerged as the hot target of the summer transfer season. With Manchester United and Tottenham tracking the Brentford attacker. Mbeumo’s performances during last season were impressive. He provided nine goals and six assists from 25 Premier League appearances. He spent a portion of the campaign sidelined by an ankle injury.

In spite of the rumor, Brentford manager Thomas Frank is adamant that the club does not want to sell. Mbeumo, aged 24, is contracted to 2026, and Brentford do not feel forced to sell. His adaptability across the forward line and reliability make him one of Brentford’s best players.

Tottenham have targeted Mbeumo as an option to beef up their right flank, particularly in the event of a potential loss of Bryan Gil. Manchester United’s interest is frenetic, with the club eyeing prospects instead of pushing hard for a transfer. United’s immediate priority continues to be a central striker and defensive additions.

Bryan Mbeumo’s profile is that of the contemporary Premier League forward type. He’s fast, direct, and can create opportunities or score them. His left-footedings on the right wing bring balance, his work rate and high-pressing abilities are attributes many top-six clubs now look for.

What particularly distinguishes Mbeumo is his tactical superiority. He adjusts to various systems. He tends to rotate between attacking positions without losing effect. His cutting inside and linking play has proved a significant weapon for Brentford, particularly in Ivan Toney’s absence.

Statistically, Mbeumo defied high expectations last term. Even on limited minutes due to injury, he was still one of Brentford’s most important creative sources. He made 2.2 key passes per game on average, had 80% of his dribbles completed, and assisted almost a third of Brentford’s league goals in total.

While he hasn’t played for a top-six club to date, Mbeumo’s Premier League experience and maturity at the age of 24 make him a notch above rawer talents.

Brentford’s position is resolute. Unless there’s a substantial bid, Mbeumo will remain. The club has him valued at approximately £50 million, with no release clause in his deal. That might weaken United’s desire, given their financial prioritization elsewhere.

Tottenham might be more inclined. The new manager, post Ange Postecoglou will be changing the attack strategy and needs a player with Mbeumo’s pace and technical poise. However with all that being said Spurs have not yet made an official offer.

For Mbeumo, the summer is about being concentrated. He has returned from injury and looking forward to the new season. A transfer isn’t ruled out, but it’s more a matter of what Brentford gets offered rather than the player demanding one.

This story could still change. A strong pre-season, an injury elsewhere, or a sudden offer could trigger fresh negotiations. For now, Brentford are in control—and they plan to keep one of their key stars.

Bryan Mbeumo has shown his top-class talent and reliability at Brentford, and attracted a lot of attention by his 20-goal, seven-assist campaign. He has shown better work rate along with his full-hour intensity—making him a real Premier League standout. His flexibility and tactical acumen make him an ideal candidate for top-six sides looking for dynamic attacking threats.

Manchester United seem to be at the forefront of the pursuit with new offers, with Tottenham next in line under Thomas Frank’s acquaintance. Though, Brentford hold the advantage with a strong £60–65 million rating. Any club that signs Mbeumo needs to guarantee minutes on a regular basis and respect his upward curve—or risk slowing a career which is poised for mass development.
