Arsenal Gameweek 1 Fixtures : Gunners set for Opening fireworks !

The Premier League fixtures for 2025/26 are officially released. The excitement is back among the football fans. People have started marking their calendars. In particular, Arsenal supporters will be very excited for this season as their Game week 1 fixtures are exciting. Last season, Arsenal came second in the premier League. However This New season, Arsenal and their fans would be excited to go for a title charge. In addition to this, The club has made some key departures and signings. It would be interesting to see how their plans work in the next season.

Arsenal will start their campaign against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 17th August 2025. It is believed to make a big headline in the Newspaper. However, Facing the Red Devils at Old Trafford will be a hard battle to fight. Historically Opening Day matches at Old Trafford are very intense for the away teams. Although Manchester United are rebuilding their team, it will still be a close match between these two clubs.

Arsenal’s Opening list of Fixtures is being considered as one of the toughest in the league. With a continuous list of high intensity matches, Arsenal have to fight strong. This puts an immediate pressure on Mikel Arteta’s team even before the next season starts.

17: Man Utd (a) – 4.30pm

23: Leeds (h) – 3pm

30: Liverpool (a) – 3pm

September fixtures –

13: Nottingham Forest (h) – 3pm

20: Man City (h) – 3pm

27: Newcastle (a) – 3pm

Getting a Winning start will be very important for Mikel Arteta and his team to build momentum for next matches. A positive result at Old Trafford will give them a mental boost and a wake up call to get ready for the competitive Environment.

The match will begin on Sunday and will be highly covered by media and journalists. Thus, important for the new signings to get a chance to make an instant impact on the team. However, Mikel Arteta may take time to integrate some of these players in the team. He is expected to play his usual system and proper team practice may be key to get results from the start. The Gunners would be keen to show their intent and planning ahead of the new season. With finishing second last year, this year Arsenal might be excited to contest for titles.

Next fixtures include playing against title winning team Liverpool, Manchester City, Forest, Newcastle. These matches may test and define how the season will go for Arsenal. Also, these Fixtures allotted in Game week 1 may give Arsenal a chance to get ahead of their rivals. These fixtures will shape up the Premier League next season and all the clubs involved understand this.

Arsenal will be looking at the Game week 1 fixtures with excitement. However, they will also be a little worried as their opening matches are tough to start. Mikel Arteta and the Club will be starting to plan the tactics and team preparation very soon. Considering the intensity of matches, Arteta will look forward to preparing his best team possible. Although they will be looking to add key signings to the team and improving team depth. Team Depth would be very important as it will help them to rotate in matches and making impacts from bench.

However, The Gunners know that it will take a lot to get prepared for the Next season. Premier League is very tough and a positive start is very important for setting tone for next matches.
