RCB release apology letter following unfortunate turn of events at M Chinnaswamy Stadium

Royal Challengers Bengaluru released a media statement following the unfortunate turn of events that took place in the city of Bengaluru ahead of their victory parade event, which was eventually planned to celebrate their IPL 2025 triumph. However, fans flocked the celebration lines in the Central Bangalore District region.

The franchise told that they prioritize safety and security of all the fans and the public of Bangalore who came with a hope to delve in the celebration parade, which turned into massive mishap within hours of crowd that created a stampede around the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and Vidhana Soudha.

“We are deeply anguished by the unfortunate incidents that have come to light through media reports regarding public gatherings all over Bengaluru in anticipation of the team’s arrival this afternoon. The safety and well-being of everyone is of utmost importance to us,” the team said in a release shortly after the mishap.

We followed guidance and advice of the local administration

“RCB mourns the tragic loss of lives and extend our heartfelt condolences to the affected families.Ā Immediately upon being made aware of the situation, we promptly amended our program, and followed, the guidance and advice of the local administration.Ā We urge all our supporters to please stay safe,” the media release read further.
