The 21 year old Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos is having a brilliant season for the French side Strasbourg. He is currently on a loan to the same side owned by the BlueCo groups. BlueCo group which manages Chelsea and RC Strasbourg from the English Premier League and the French Ligue 1. The player currently on loan spell at the French side from the Blues this season. With the brilliant season he is having so far. Many top teams are interested in him. The Blues have reportedly set price tag of €45–50 million for the player. Attention from top European teams like the Gunners and the French side Paris Saint German (PSG) to secure his services. As the summer window comes forward many teams are looking to secure his services. With the Blues looking to benefit from the options of the young talent’s future.

After joining the Blues in Jan 2023 for a reported fee of €20 million. Before arriving to the Stamford Bridge the player was delivering his services in the Brazilian domestic league. In the Brazilian league he was playing for Vasco da Gama. This fee of €20 million made him the most expensive transfer in the club’s history. At the Vasco his role was very important and crucial for their promotion to the Brazil’s Serie A their top league. In that run of play as a midfielder scoring a total of 8 goals in a total of 33 games for the team. With such a good talent he is yet to make a appearance for the Blues. He has spent a loan spell at Nottingham Forest before moving to French side. Their he has been shining with 10 goals and 5 assists in the French domestic league.

The Gunners are looking to add Santos to their squad. With midfielder Jorginho and Thomas Partey set to leave in the summer transfer window. The Gunners are looking for new replacement who are young and ready to perform at the big stage. Taking the example of Martin Zubimendi who is ready to arrive in the coming summer. With the Gunners vision for an long term solutions new young midfielder like Santos are a perfect fit. To move the system of manager Mikel Arteta has shape in the past seasons. With PSG are the other big name leading to sign Santos. His current game play is one to watch out for. Making name for himself in the Ligue 1. PSG are monitoring his situation closely as they look make in the upcoming summer window. As for the Gunners they are also considering a move for the player.

The Blues view him as important asset to the team whose market value has increased due to his good performance in France. With the open to good offers in €45–50 million. There also a chance to bring him into the squad for the club world cup in order to make their team stronger. Under manger Maresca Santos has a chance to prove himself at the Club world cup.

With many teams in line for the player due to good performance in the Ligue 1. This potential to built upon is also looked upon by the other clubs in the top stage of the game. Currently Santos requires regular playing time for his growth and ability to showcase at the big stage.
