Arsenal in race to sign Christopher Nkunku

The Gunners are interested in signing 27 year French forward from Chelsea in the Premier League. The French international is in interest list for the Gunners. The 27 year old Christopher Nkunku. Nkunku who joined the Blue in 2023 from RB Leipzig for a big fee of £52 million. Due to his impressive game play in the German Bundesliga with the German side. He was the League top scorer in 2021- 22 season and also won the Player of the Tournament before the season he came to the Blues. But his time with the Blues in Stamford Bridge is limited due injury and a dip in performance. With no place now in the starting lineup of the Blues. As a result he wants a move to a club that can offer regular football with European football. So many top clubs are in line to secure his services with the Gunners.

He started his professional steps at the French side with PSG. With over a 78 appearances and winning multiple domestic titles with a Ligue 1 titles in his career at the French side. After his not so regular starting at the side he made a move to German Bundesliga to RB Leipzig. Where he was completely unstoppable scoring a total of 70 goals in 172 appearances for the side. In this time he got the Bundesliga Player of the Season award in 2021-22. Due to his this performance it got the attention of top European clubs like the Blues. But his time at the Blues is very limited. With injuries and very not so regular good game play. Giving him only a total of 9 Premier League starts with 6 goals in a total of 38 games. Due to this he is eyeing an move for other clubs.

The Gunners interest in him is very interesting. With the Gunners looking for new attackers. His ability to play any role as an attacker makes him very good choice. His ability to play either to play as Attacking centre forward , second striker and attacking midfielder makes him a good pick. With the Gunners looking to compete in various sets of the game. Including the Premier League and the Champions League along with other domestic cups. His previous experience in European competition with his previous record in the Bundesliga. He can be a good addition to the Gunners squad in their race to win trophies for the next season.

With this potential exit of him from the Blues and the Gunners leading the race to secure him. They face fight from other top European clubs from different leagues. With teams like Bayern Munich, PSG, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and the Gunners in the pack to secure the player. With the Blues ready to let the player go next summer. In a fee ranging around £35–40 million, which is very less from what they got the player from the German side.

With the player looking to get regular game time along with the European football can play an important role. The Gunners move to add him as means to make their stronger before the next season. With the player looking to get his previous form in a new team he chooses for in the days to come. Many teams currently in the race this potential deals will be very interesting.
