The Premier League enters a thrilling weekend with matchday 33 featuring a full slate of high-stakes fixtures across eight venues.

With the title, top-four finishes, and relegation all hanging in the balance, Sunday, June 1, promises drama and intensity in equal measure as all matches kick off simultaneously.

At the Baba Yara Stadium, third-placed Asante Kotoko will look to cement their place in the top four as they host Medeama SC. Although the Premier League title appears off, a strong finish remains crucial. Medeama, sitting sixth and trailing Kotoko by five points, travel to Kumasi with hopes of boosting their own top-four ambitions in what promises to be a fiercely contested encounter.

In Accra, Hearts of Oak aim to keep their top-four hopes alive as they face already-relegated Legon Cities in a capital derby at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Phobians, currently fifth, must secure maximum points and hope for favorable results elsewhere to break into the coveted top four.

The title race remains finely poised, with Gold Stars and Nations FC battling it out at the summit. Second-placed Gold Stars face a stern test away to mid-table Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park. Just three points behind leaders Nations FC, the Miners need a victory to keep their title hopes alive heading into the final day.

Meanwhile, league leaders Nations FC have their fate in their own hands as they travel to Ampain to take on relegation-threatened Basake Holy Stars. A win would put them within touching distance of their maiden Premier League crown, but they must navigate a tricky test against a side desperate for survival.

With the drop zone still unsettled, the battle for safety intensifies. Accra Lions face a do-or-die clash against Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium. Sitting 16th, the Lions must win and rely on results elsewhere to climb out of the relegation zone.

Karela United, hovering just above the drop, welcome Young Apostles to the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale. The newcomers are one win away from ensuring safety, while Karela must capitalize on home advantage to stave off relegation fears.

Defending champions FC Samartex 1996 host Aduana FC at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in a fixture with pride and momentum at stake. Elsewhere, Bechem United make the long trip to Kpando to face fourth-placed Heart of Lions, who are looking to consolidate their spot among the league’s elite.

With everything still to play for, matchday 33 promises high drama, intense battles, and potentially season-defining moments across the country.
