PBKS vs MI: Top 3 Highlights in Today’s Clash in IPL 2025

Punjab Kings (PBKS) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) to secure a place in Qualifier One with a seven-wicket win in the 69th match of IPL 2025.

Here are the top three highlights from today’s PBKS vs MI clash in the IPL 2025:

Surya’s Brilliant Knock

Suryakumar Yadav played a gem of an innings for MI. He put on three important partnerships with Rohit, Hardik Pandya, and Naman Dhir, adding 36, 44, and 31 runs respectively. These partnerships helped MI post a competitive total of 184/7. Surya scored 57 runs off 39 balls at a strike rate of 146.1. His innings included six fours and two sixes.

Arshdeep and Jansen Shining with the Ball

Arshdeep Singh and Marco Jansen bowled brilliantly in their four-over spells. Arshdeep took two crucial wickets — Suryakumar Yadav and Naman Dhir. Jansen also claimed two key wickets, dismissing Ryan Rickelton and Hardik Pandya. Arshdeep finished with figures of 2/28 at an economy rate of 7.00, while Jansen returned with 2/34 from his four overs.

Priyansh and Inglis’ Match-Winning Partnership

Josh Inglis and Arya led the charge for PBKS with a blistering 109-run partnership off just 59 balls, setting the foundation for a memorable win. Arya, who scored 43 during the stand, raced to his fifty in just 27 deliveries.

He continued his aggressive approach and crafted a superb 62 off 35 balls, laced with nine boundaries and two sixes at a strike rate of 177.14, before falling to Mitchell Santner, caught by Suryakumar Yadav on the first ball of the 15th over.

Inglis, meanwhile, was equally impressive. He anchored the innings with a commanding 73 off 42 balls, maintaining a strike rate of 173.81 and ensuring PBKS stayed on course for victory.
