After a week’s hiatus due to the India-Pakistan conflicts, the IPL 2025 season will resume on May 17, Thursday, with seven teams remaining in contention for four spots in the Playoffs.

With only four teams likely to reach 18 points at the end of the league stage, are only a win away from the most probable cut-off in place for the Playoffs this year. With three games in hand, Gujarat are almost assured of breaching that mark.

Like GT, are only a win away from 18 points. Bengaluru have two home games remaining and could even target a top-2 finish if they rack up wins in all of their remainig games.

With the game against DC set to be replayed, will be on their toes and require two wins from their remaining games to be assured of their first Playoffs berth in over a decade.

Having blipped in their previous outing against the Titans in a last-ball finish, Mumbai are staring at the possibility of missing out of the Playoffs if they lose another league stage match.

With 13 points in 11 games, DC will need to win all of their remaining games to cross the 18-point cut-off. Even if they were to slip up in one game, the Capitals run the danger of missing the Playoffs.
