The Punjab Kings (PBKS) extended their gratitude to all the relevant stakeholders after the leagueās temporary suspension. PBKS thanked the BCCI, IPL, Indian Railways and all the officials for ensuring a smooth travel of every individual in the team.
Shreyas Iyer-led team was in Dharamsala on May 8, while clashing with Delhi Capitals (DC). PBKS chose to bat first and they were 122 for 1 in 10.1 overs, where suddenly the floodlight failure occurred in the stadium. So, the spectators were asked to leave the ground and the BCCI announced the leagueās suspension on May 9 for a week.
